Who we install for

Home compounds

Driveways, gates and pathways lit without trenching a cable from the house.

Farms & plots

Lighting where there's no supply at all and extending the grid would cost more than the lights.

Roads & institutions

Street lighting for approach roads, campuses and residential associations.

Shopfronts

Signage and frontage lighting that adds nothing to the monthly bill.

Questions

Solar lighting questions

More on the full FAQ page

Will they work through the monsoon?

That comes down to how the panel and battery are sized. We size for consecutive overcast days rather than for a sunny average — which is the single biggest difference between solar lights that survive a Kerala monsoon and ones that go dark in July.

How long do they run each night?

A properly sized unit runs dusk to dawn. Motion mode — dim until someone approaches, then full brightness — significantly extends runtime and is worth enabling on compounds and pathways.

How long does the battery last?

Lithium batteries typically give several years of daily cycling. We fit lithium rather than lead-acid because it handles heat far better, which matters a great deal here.

All-in-one or separate panel?

All-in-one is cheaper and quicker to fit, but the panel sits flat on the unit at a compromised angle. A separate panel can be tilted correctly for this latitude and gathers noticeably more in poor weather. For roads and open ground, split is worth the extra.

Do they need any wiring or a meter?

No. Each unit is self-contained — no cable run, no connection, nothing on your electricity bill. That's usually the whole reason for choosing solar lighting over conventional.

What does it cost?

Compound lights start from ₹2,999 per unit installed. The figure moves with LED wattage and battery size, so the honest answer depends on how much area you need lit — which we work out on the site visit. Street lights cost more again once a pole and foundation are involved.
