1. About these terms

These terms apply when you ask IT Next Computers & CCTV Solutions ("ITnext", "we", "us") for a quote, place an order, or use this website. If you deal with us as a consumer, nothing here takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

2. Prices on this website

• Prices, calculator results and timelines on this website are a guide, not an offer. "From" prices are for a standard installation; your price depends on your site.
• Only a written quotation from us is binding.
• Product pictures and specifications can change when a manufacturer updates a model.

3. Site visits and quotes

• Site visits in our service area (Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Kollam and Ernakulam) are free, with no obligation.
• Written quotes are valid for 30 days, subject to stock and supplier prices.
• A quote covers what we could see at the survey. If we find something different once work starts (hidden damage, an unsuitable wall, a blocked cable route), we stop, tell you, and agree any change in writing before carrying on.

4. Payment

• 50% advance when you confirm the order, so we can buy the material. The balance on completion, as set out in your quote.
• GST is charged at the current rate and shown on the invoice.
• The goods are yours once fully paid for.

5. What we need from you

• Safe access to the property on the agreed dates.
• A working power supply, and an internet connection for systems you want to view on your phone.
• Any permission needed from a landlord, association, panchayat or municipality.
• Telling us about hidden wiring, pipes or structural features. We cannot be responsible for damage to things we were not told about and could not reasonably find.

If we arrive on an agreed date and cannot work because the site is not ready, we may charge a visit fee.

6. Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty. We register it and handle claims for you.

Our workmanship (installation, cabling, mounting and setup) is covered by us for:

• 1 year on CCTV and home automation
• 2 years on automatic gates
• 5 years on solar systems
• 1 month on computer and laptop repairs

Inverters and batteries, solar street lights, LED display boards and access control carry the manufacturer's warranty. An AMC can extend cover; its terms are in the AMC agreement.

Warranty does not cover damage from lightning, power surges or flooding; physical damage, theft or fire; rodent or water damage to cabling after handover; work or changes by anyone else; failures of internet, SIM or electricity supply; or hard disks and batteries beyond their own warranty.

7. Computer and laptop repairs

• Diagnosis is free. No repair starts until you approve a written quote.
• Please back up your data before handing a device over. We are not liable for data loss.
• Devices not collected within 30 days of us telling you they are ready may attract a storage charge.
• We install licensed software only.

8. Solar, net metering and subsidy

• Generation and savings figures are estimates. Real output depends on weather, shade, dust and season, so we cannot guarantee a particular saving or payback.
• When you ask us to, we prepare the net metering and subsidy paperwork. Approval, amount and timing are decided by KSEB and the government, not by us.

9. Cancellations and refunds

• You can cancel before work starts. If we have already bought material for your order that cannot be returned, we deduct its cost from your refund.
• Made-to-measure items, such as LED boards built to your size, cannot be cancelled once we start making them.
• After installation starts, cancellation is by agreement, and you pay for work done and material used.
• Refunds are paid within 30 days, to the account you paid from.

10. Our liability

• A security system reduces risk; it cannot remove it. We are not liable for theft, break-ins, injury or loss at a property where we installed equipment.
• We are not liable for lost recordings or data, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or business.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the work concerned.
• None of this limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights as a consumer.

We are not responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, such as floods, storms, power failures, strikes, supplier problems or government and utility delays. If that happens, we will tell you and agree a new date.

11. Disputes

Please talk to us first; most things are sorted with a phone call. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts at Alappuzha, Kerala.

The content of this website belongs to ITnext. Brand names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to name the brands we supply and service.
