Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we quote, supply, install and service. Written to be fair and readable rather than to bury anything.
1. Who these terms apply to
ITnext Computers & CCTV Solutions
ITnext Buildings, Sasthamuri Junction, Karichal, Payipad P.O, Haripad, Kerala 690514, India
Phone: 9744 60 95 64 · 7012 60 95 64 | Email: info@itnextcomputers.in
[Add your registered legal entity name, GSTIN and, if applicable, CIN — a privacy policy naming no legal entity is weak.]
These terms govern the sale, supply, installation and servicing of goods and services by ITnext Computers & CCTV Solutions, and your use of this website. By requesting a quotation, placing an order or accepting our work, you agree to them.
Where you deal with us as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
2. Website information is indicative
Prices, specifications, generation estimates, savings calculators and timelines shown on this website are indicative and for guidance only. They are not an offer and do not form a contract.
- Prices shown as "from" are starting points for a standard installation. Your price depends on the site.
- The solar savings estimator produces an approximation from typical figures. It is not a guarantee of generation, savings or payback.
- Product images and specifications may differ from the item supplied where a manufacturer changes a model.
- Only a written quotation issued by us is binding.
We correct errors on this site as we find them, and we reserve the right to decline an order placed on an obviously incorrect price.
3. Site visits and quotations
- Site visits within our service area — Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Kollam and Ernakulam — are free and carry no obligation.
- Written quotations are valid for [30 days — confirm] from issue, subject to availability and to prices from our suppliers.
- A quotation is based on what was visible and accessible at the survey. If conditions differ once work begins — concealed damage, an unsuitable structure, an unusable existing cable route — we will stop, tell you, and agree any change in writing before continuing.
- Where you accept a quotation, that quotation together with these terms forms the contract between us.
4. Payment
[Confirm your actual terms — this is a placeholder structure.]
- An advance of [X%] is payable on confirmation of order, to allow us to procure material.
- The balance is payable [on completion of installation / as per the quotation].
- Title in goods passes to you only on full payment. Risk passes on delivery to your premises.
- GST applies at the prevailing rate and is shown separately on the invoice.
- [State any charge on overdue amounts, if you apply one.]
5. Your responsibilities before and during installation
To complete work safely and on time, we need you to provide:
- Safe access to the property on the agreed dates, and to all areas where work is needed.
- A working electrical supply at the site, and a suitable point for us to connect to.
- For remote-viewing systems, a working internet connection and router access.
- Any permission required from a landlord, association, panchayat or municipality. Obtaining permissions is your responsibility, not ours.
- Accurate information about concealed wiring, plumbing or structural features. We take care, but we cannot be responsible for damage to services we were not told about and could not reasonably detect.
If we attend on an agreed date and cannot work because the site is not ready or nobody is present, we may charge a visit fee.
6. Warranty
Two separate warranties apply to your installation:
| Cover | Provided by | Period |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware — cameras, recorders, panels, inverters, motors, readers, computers | The manufacturer | As per that manufacturer's warranty. We register it and handle claims for you. |
| Our workmanship — installation, cabling, mounting, configuration | ITnext | 1 year on CCTV and automation as standard; up to 5 years on premium plans; 5 years on solar systems |
What the workmanship warranty does not cover
- Damage from lightning, power surge, voltage fluctuation or flooding.
- Physical damage, vandalism, theft, fire or accident.
- Rodent, insect or water damage to cabling after handover.
- Any fault caused by work, alteration or tampering by you or a third party.
- Faults arising from an internet, SIM, electricity or third-party service failure.
- Consumables and wear parts — including hard disks and batteries — beyond their manufacturer warranty.
- Systems relocated to another position or property by anyone other than us.
Warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective work. It does not cover consequential loss — see section 10.
7. Computers, laptops and repairs
- Diagnosis is free. No repair work begins until you approve a written quotation.
- You are responsible for backing up your own data. We back up where technically possible and where you ask, but we cannot guarantee recovery from a drive that has already failed, and we accept no liability for data loss.
- New products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Returns and replacements follow that manufacturer's policy.
- Devices not collected within [X days — confirm] of us notifying you that work is complete may attract a storage charge.
- We supply licensed software only. We do not install unlicensed or cracked software under any circumstances.
8. Solar, net metering and subsidy
- Generation figures are estimates based on typical irradiance for this region. Actual output varies with weather, shading, soiling, orientation and season. We do not guarantee a specific generation, saving or payback period.
- Where you ask us to, we prepare and submit net metering applications and subsidy documentation on your behalf.
- Approval, timelines and payment of subsidy are decided by KSEB and the relevant government authority, not by us. We cannot guarantee approval, the amount, or when it will be paid, and we are not liable for delay caused by any authority.
- Subsidy schemes and rates change. Any figure we mention is as we understand it at the time and is subject to the scheme rules in force when your application is processed.
9. Cancellation and refunds
[Confirm your actual policy — this is a reasonable default structure.]
- You may cancel before work begins. Where we have already procured non-returnable material specific to your order, we may deduct that cost from any refund.
- Custom-built items — LED boards made to your dimensions, for example — cannot be cancelled once manufacture has begun.
- Once installation has begun, cancellation is by agreement, and you remain liable for work already done and material already used.
- Refunds due are paid within [X days — confirm] to the original payment method.
10. Limitation of liability
We take responsibility for our work. We ask you to accept reasonable limits on what we can be held liable for.
- A security system reduces risk. It does not eliminate it. We are not liable for theft, burglary, trespass, injury or loss occurring at premises where we have installed equipment, whether or not the equipment recorded or detected it.
- We are not liable for loss of recordings, footage or data, however caused.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, revenue or opportunity.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the goods or services giving rise to it.
- Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights as a consumer.
11. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by something beyond our reasonable control — including flood, storm, natural disaster, fire, power failure, strike, civil disruption, government or utility action or delay, supplier failure, or restrictions on movement. Where such an event occurs, we will tell you and agree a revised timeline.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, layout, design, graphics and photographs — belongs to ITnext Computers & CCTV Solutions unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
Manufacturer names, logos and trade marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to indicate the brands we are authorised to supply and service.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [Alappuzha / your preferred seat — confirm with your lawyer], Kerala.
Before going to court, we would ask you to raise the matter with us directly. Most things can be resolved with a phone call.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date you accept a quotation. The "last updated" date at the top shows when this page last changed.
