Inverter and battery installation — tubular, lithium and solar hybrid

Microtek, Luminous, UTL, Deye, V-Guard, Warrior and Hykon. Not every lithium battery works with every inverter, because the charging settings have to match, so we check the inverter you already have before recommending one. If it is not compatible, we quote the inverter and battery as a pair.

It depends on what you want running and for how long, which is why we run a load assessment before quoting. Undersizing means it trips; oversizing means you paid for capacity you never use.

Tubular costs less upfront and is the sensible choice on a tight budget. Lithium costs more but lasts roughly twice as long, needs no maintenance and takes far less space — so over eight years it often works out cheaper. We'll put both figures in front of you and let you choose.

That's a function of battery capacity against the load you're running. Cutting the load extends runtime far more cheaply than adding battery capacity. Backing up lights and fans costs a fraction of backing up an air conditioner.

Usually yes, but it depends on your inverter. A standard on-grid inverter can't charge a battery; you'd need a hybrid inverter or an AC-coupled battery. We'll check what you have before quoting.

Almost always undersized cabling, poor ventilation, or running them flat repeatedly. All three are installation and sizing faults, which is why we don't cut corners on cable gauge.
