Annual Maintenance Contracts

Annual maintenance contracts that keep it working

CCTV, solar, gate automation and power backup don't announce when they are failing. With an annual maintenance contract (AMC), our engineers check them on a schedule and come quickly when something stops.

  • Our own engineers
  • A report after every visit
  • Brand warranty claims handled
Why it matters

The same fault, two very different days

Most failures we are called out for could have been caught on a routine visit.

Without an AMC

  1. The hard disk starts failing. Nothing on the screen says so.
  2. Something happens at the gate. You open the recording. The last three weeks are missing.
  3. An emergency call, a wait for a free slot, and a bill for the visit.

With an AMC

  1. A planned visit checks the disk. It is showing wear.
  2. We replace it under the brand warranty before it stops recording.
  3. When you need the footage, it is there. Nothing extra to pay for the visit.
Benefits

What an AMC gives you

One fixed yearly price. No surprise call-out bills.

The planned visits, and the repair labour your cover includes, are agreed in writing before the year starts.

Faster help

AMC customers are seen first, within the response time in the contract.

A record of every visit

What was checked, found and fixed, useful for insurance and audits.

The team that installed it

Our own engineers service what they fitted, so nobody starts from scratch.

Equipment that lasts

Clean, correctly set equipment wears out slower and keeps its warranty valid.

Questions

AMC questions

More on the full FAQ page.

Still not sure?

Tell us what you have. We will suggest the cover that makes sense, including when the answer is that you don't need one.

Why do I need an AMC at all?

Because the parts that fail rarely give warning. A CCTV hard disk can stop recording without anyone noticing until footage is needed, and dirty solar panels lose generation a little at a time. A planned visit finds these before they cost you.

How much does an AMC cost?

It depends on the system: how many cameras or devices, how far you are from us, how many visits you want each year, how quickly you need us and whether repair labour is included. We look at your system and give you a fixed yearly price in writing.

Are spare parts included?

No. Parts are quoted separately at the current price, so you only pay for what is actually replaced. Where a part is still under the manufacturer's warranty, we handle the claim with the brand for you.

Can I take an AMC on a system you didn't install?

Yes, after an inspection. We will tell you honestly whether it is worth covering, and anything that needs fixing first is quoted before the contract starts.

What's your response time?

It is written in your contract and depends on the cover you choose, from same day on the highest cover to within 36 hours. Enquiries get a reply within 2 hours during working hours.

Can one AMC cover several systems?

Yes. If you have CCTV, solar and a gate motor from us, they go on one contract with one renewal date.

What happens if I don't renew?

Nothing stops working. You move back to our normal response times and pay for visits as you need them. Your workmanship warranty continues for its original term.
