Solar street lights in Kayamkulam

Five TP-Link ViGi IP cameras with Wi-Fi access points at a private residence in Puthuppally, commissioned and handed over working on the phone before we left. The access points are the part people do not expect. A single router at one end of a concrete house does not reach the far corners, and cameras that drop out four days in five are worse than none. Half the work on a Wi-Fi camera job is getting the coverage right first. Puthuppally is close enough to the coast that fixings matter. Standard screws and brackets seize and stain within a couple of monsoons here.

Foxtech 500kg swing gate motors with a Hikvision video door phone, so the gate can be opened from inside the house after seeing who is at it. The motor is rated to the gate's actual weight rather than to a standard kit. An undersized motor on a heavy gate works for a season and then starts failing on the hottest days, and by then it has usually worn the track as well. Photocell safety sensors stop and reverse the gate if anything breaks the beam, and a manual release key means a power cut never locks anyone in.
