Most CCTV pricing online is either a number with nothing behind it, or a form that wants your phone number before it tells you anything. So here are our actual package prices, and then the honest part — what moves them.
| Package | Price, installed |
|---|---|
| 2 × 2MP HD cameras | ₹16,500 |
| 4 × 5MP HD cameras | ₹33,000 |
| 6 × 4MP IP cameras | ₹60,000 |
Those are complete and include GST: cameras, recorder, hard disk, power, cable in conduit, phone setup and the labour. They are approximate rates from October 2026: indicative prices based on average item costs, and the exact price depends on your site. For other camera counts, analog or IP and full colour night vision, the CCTV cost calculator works it out from the same rates.
Notice where the price steps up. The fifth camera costs far more than the fourth, because going past four means an 8-channel recorder, a bigger power supply, a larger disk and more cable, all at once. Past six cameras the disk moves to 2 TB, which is now the single most expensive part of the system. If you are between four and five cameras, it is worth asking whether four well-placed ones already cover what matters.
The four things that actually move a quote
1. How far the cables have to run
The biggest variable, and it never appears in an online price. A camera twelve metres from the recorder and a camera at the far corner of a large plot are the same camera and a very different job. Cable, conduit, drilling and the time to do it properly are what separate a real quote from a price list.
This is also why any installer who quotes without seeing the property is guessing. They are guessing at exactly this.
2. Resolution, and how long you keep footage
A 5MP camera produces considerably more data than a 2MP one, and a system keeping a month of footage needs a bigger disk than one keeping a week.
Ask for retention in days, not gigabytes. “One terabyte” means nothing on its own. “Twenty-one days with all eight cameras recording the way we have set them” means something. The CCTV storage calculator gives you the days for any disk and camera count.
3. Analog HD or IP
Analog HD is the value choice and is right for most homes. IP costs more per camera and needs different cable, but gives you resolution you can zoom into and detection that tells a person from a moving branch.

4. Where you are
Within a few kilometres of the shore, standard housings and fixings corrode. Screws seize, brackets stain, and a camera that should last years starts failing in its second or third monsoon. We fit corrosion-resistant housings and marine-grade fixings near the coast. It costs a little more, and it is the difference between a system that lasts and one that gets redone.
What cheap quotes leave out
When a quote comes in far under the others, it is nearly always one of these. None is visible on day one. All of them show up later.
The hard disk, or a disk far too small. The most common one by a distance. The system records for nine days, and nobody finds out until they need day twelve.
A desktop hard drive instead of a surveillance drive. Desktop drives are not built for continuous writing and fail earlier doing it.
Surface-clipped cable instead of conduit. Faster and cheaper. Exposed cable is both a weather problem and the first thing anybody cuts.
No plan for power cuts. Lose power and recording stops; lose it mid-write and you can corrupt the disk. Ask for a small UPS on the recorder, or for it to be connected to your inverter.
No labelling, no handover. It works the day the installer leaves, and nobody in the house knows how to pull a clip when it actually matters.
What we include as standard
A free site survey and a written fixed-price quote before anything starts. Cameras positioned from a walk of the property, not from a plan. Conduit on every run. A surveillance-grade disk sized to the retention you asked for, stated in days. The mobile app set up on your phone before we leave, and someone shown how to find and export a clip. One year of workmanship cover on top of the manufacturer warranty.
Roughly what to expect
A typical home — gate, front door, car porch, rear approach — is the four camera package, landing near that price once the cable runs are counted.
A shop usually needs the counter, the entrance and the stock area, with better resolution at the counter. That often means a mixed system and a little more.
A large compound or commercial site is genuinely site-specific and we will not pretend otherwise. It gets a proper survey and a written quote.
The question worth more than the price
Ask who comes when it stops working, and how fast.
CCTV is not a product you buy once. It is a thing that has to keep working for years in a difficult climate. We install with our own team and service with the same people — there is nobody between you and whoever fitted it. That is why we can state response times and mean them.
